The Institute functions forcusing on scientific researches aimed to recieve and use new knowledge in economics and social policy within the context of post and neoindustrial development, to bring research and technology to practical application, to train highly experienced academic staff, to meet social, economic, ecological requirements and needs, to reach innovative development of the country. Research activity is basic for the Institute.
Main research areas of the Institute include:
regulatory mode of stimulation, modernization and socio-economic development, structural dynamics of spacial formations, innovative systems of the industrial regions;
socio-economic issues of industrial production; social management, industrial relations and social responsibility, human capital; social policy and sustainable development;
the strategy of industrial development in the context of global transformations and its financial and economic regulation;
issues of microeconomics, recovery and creation of modern production with high value-added of industrial products.
